Amateur Modeling got me in deep water with boyfriend?

Some of the photo’s got published in a photographic magazine which I knew there was a chance of happening as the whole thing was run by them.
My boyfriend saw them and is very cross about me being in a bikini in them and even more because the pictures published are of me in one of the bikinis he had bought me as a present for our holiday a few months before. He has also told me it is like selling myself.
He basically has told me I must not do this again and wants to throw away all and any of my bikinis and swimsuits that I took with for the trip. I cannot honestly remember which they were, but he thinks I am just being difficult, so now wants to throw out all my swimwear just in case I wore it on the photo shoot at some point. He says that since he bought and paid for most of the swimwear that I currently have that although I wear them the swimwear is actually technically his to do with as he pleases.
What do you think about this, is he right to want to do this?
I would honestly like your opinions on it?

It sounds like your boyfriend has a lot of growing up to do.
He really doesn’t have a clue if he thinks modeling in a bikini is the same as prostitution.
He sounds very controlling. Break up with him before he really does something insane.

id say kick him to the curb. he’s wanting to controll you and make you live your life his way. if this is something you wanted to do he should have been supported. the only thing i see that could have caused a problem is if you didnt tell him you were going to do this before you did. that would be the only reason I see that would cause him to act this way.

He gave them to you. In other words, they are now yours.
How would he react if you said a similar thing to him? Like, “I bought you this shirt, so I can do with it what I like, since it’s technically mine”? I bet he’d flip out.
My thoughts: he’s just jealous that you decided to share your beauty with others.

Or wearing a G string. But i see nothing wrong with those photos. I’ve seen crazier stuff in sears catalogs.

Well, yes he gave you the swim suit and paid for it but he gave it to YOU. So I should think you have the right to do what you want with it as it is not his, it’s yours.

he bought them as a gift which means they belong to you not him and YOU can do what you please with them. He’s just jealous cause he knows you look hot in these photos and doesnt want any dudes stealing you away.
