Which is the best software I can use to combine 2 movies on different disks into one image?

I have two movies on dvd disks but I need them together. I want to combine them then burn them into one dvd disk. I will also need to compress them so they can fit on one 4.7GB dvd.

I always burn video to dvd with Total Video2Dvd , very easy to use, work on home dvd player
